Casks (Foudres)
The Foudre is the ideal aging container for wines that need time to develop, and will benefit from the structure and micro-oxidation of oak, without over "oaking" and keeping purity in the finished wines. Rousseau can offer solutions for complex pyramid stacks, housing multiple volumious casks to maximize floorspace, or more straightforward projects of round and oval casks free-standing on oak supports.
Vertical Oak Tanks
The Vertical Oak tank is a staple vessel for healthy fermentation and can be fitted with various options for lids, doubling as a storage vessel during a majority of the year. These tanks can be exported in volumes as large as 100HL+ (2640 gallons+). For larger volumes and complicated projects, please inquire with your AB&T representative.
